Hexx #1 Showhome

The Story

In 2018 we won a competition to supply a property to a showhome plot at Graven Hill, Biscester. We appointed Charlie Luxton as our architect and embarked on the design of an outstanding building which could demonstrate how the build system could adapt to the constraints of the development. We manufactured and installed the unit in August 2019 in March 2020 opened the showhome to visitors.

As well as being a showhome, the property also acted as a proving ground for our design, manufacture and construction methodologies. The building was a huge success, allowing us to demonstrate the validity of the concept and provide some real world data on the incredible thermal, energy and acoustic performance.

The property was sold in 2022 and now has some delighted owners who have embraced the building and keep it looking like a showhome!

This is the HexxHome Show Home design, a 3 bed 129 sq. m. detached home for the Graven Hill Village show home complex. Architecture by Charlie Luxton Design, this home features a balcony, large master bedroom, ensuite, two spacious additional bedrooms and open plan living on the ground floor.

Solar panels, battery storage and underfloor heating, powered by an ASHP will also feature to make it a very attractive proposition to prospective HexxHome customers.
